Holly
and Laura are jet setting there way back from the
market

ready for the love holiday! For all those who registered for our Valentine
Candy Basket Class
we will be meeting this Saturday January 28th from 2-4pm. Bring

Updates
and Reminders

Don't Forget! The fabulous Rosalie Peters will be here as a
Guest Teacher Sunday March 5th from 9:30 am – 5 pm. This is a noteworthy
event! We will be working on a fabulous Palm Tree Design utilizing
new threads and fresh techniques! A nonrefundable deposit is required.
Class fills up quickly, so don’t miss out, be sure to sign up A.S.A.P.!

Beginners
Series Class! Learn
5 Needlepoint stitches while creating a lovely Tropical
Palm Tree piece! 5 Classes Saturdays February 4-March 4. Cost is $100.
· Studio
Time has been revived Tuesdays and Fridays 11-12. This is
an opportunity to have Holly’s help with stitch and thread
selection. Group setting for old or new projects. $10 per session.
Tip
Of The Week
The
oldest piece of needlework ever discovered was in the tomb of
the
Egyptian Pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The piece was made of linen.
I
guess we can count on linen being a very durable thread to use!
Finishing
Idea of the Week!

the key to your heart! This adorable Valentine Heart Box is a
great
way to show your love
to someone special!
Ongoing
Classes
Beginners
Class
Offered every other month on a Wednesday or Saturday. You
will learn 5 needlepoint stitches including the traditional tent stitch
while creating a lovely Tropical Palm Tree piece. During
this class you will also have the opportunity to learn to utilize several
important fibers and techniques on how to properly use those fibers. Cost
of the class is $100 which includes kit.
Rug
Support
Every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:00. If you are stitching a large piece and
need support or motivation this is the group for you! Join
us this Wednesday January 25th.
Intermediate
Class Series
meets every Tuesday at 11am. This class is a series of 12 individual
projects that last 4 weeks per project. Each project is a line-drawn 4”x
4” design with a Florida theme and they all utilize decorative stitches
and unusual techniques. Cost is $65 per project and reservation is
required.
Stitch
and Sip Every
Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:30. A great way to meet others that have
similar interests while working on any of your unfinished projects. $5
fee.
Join us this Wednesday January 25th.
Stitch
of the Week
Fridays,
from 10:30 - 11:30am, and every Saturday, from 10:30 - 11:30am. You
can create a stitch sampler on one of our four pre-selected hand painted
canvases, our patchwork designs (frog bean bag or door stop), or just a
blank canvas, whichever you prefer. There is a $5 fee per class, plus cost
of canvas choice.
The
Stitch of the Week for Friday January 27th will be Gobelin
Cross A Stitch. The Stitch of the Week for Saturday
January 28th will be Eyelit Stripes A Stitch.
Stitching
Social from 11:30am till?
Immediately
following the Stitch of the Week class is another opportunity to share and
learn with others while you work on one of your unfinished projects.
Studio Time Fridays 11AM – 12PM.
This is a great opportunity to have Holly’s help in a group setting with
stitch and thread selection for old or new projects. Classes are $10
dollars per session.
