Absolutely
Needlepoint offers a variety of classes from beginner
(adult and children's ages 8 and up) to intermediate (belt
and ornament classes) to advanced (the
upcoming Akiko class).
On
a weekly basis, we offer "stitching socials". Join all
your old friends and meet new ones at one of our Stitch Groups!
We meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. for
"Rug Support" and evenings from 6:30-8:30 P.M. for
"Stitch and Sip". On
Fridays at our "Group Therapy Class" from 11:30 A.M. to
2:00 P.M. you can work on your unfinished projects.
On Wednesday's Stitch and Sip evenings, a $5 fee is requested.

Create
a stitch sampler on one of our four pre-selected hand-painted
canvases or on blank canvas. We also now have a great Patchwork
Frog Bean Bag Canvas to do your Stitch of the Week.

$100 which includes Kit and 5 classes.
Description: You will learn the essential techniques of
needlepoint as well as 5 needlepoint stitches while working on
a lovely tropical palm tree piece. This class is where you
should start if you want to learn to needlepoint or if you are
just looking for a refresher course.

$65 per project and reservation is required.
Description:
This class is a series of 12 individual projects that last 4
weeks per project. Each project is a line-drawn 4x4 design
with a Florida theme and they all utilize decorative stitches
and unusual techniques.

Class |

Saturday- August 27 & September 3rd
Time: 2 P.M. - 4 P.M.
Cost: A deposit of $75 dollars is required, call for
total price of class.
Description: In this class you
will have the opportunity to stitch a lovely Akiko profile
while learning three different techniques including- couching,
the laying of silk ribbon, and the padding and laying of hair.
