Updates and Reminders  

·        Exciting Upcoming Classes! See the updated class descriptions below:

Ø Akiko Profile Class: where you will stitch a lovely Akiko profile while learning three different techniques including- couching, the laying of silk ribbon, and the padding and laying of hair. Classes will meet Saturday's- August 27 &  September 3rd from 2 - 4 P.M. Class Closed.

Ø      Bargello Class:  This class is an exercise in learning the elegant and beautiful Bargello. The piece features the Florentine version of this ancient stitching method, upon which you will learn 6 different patterns. The class consists of a total of 3 classes meeting October 8^th, 22^nd, and November 5^th. A $50 dollar deposit is required. Call and reserve a spot ahead of time!

Ø      5 Sided Christmas Music Box: In this class you will learn a variety of stitches and techniques on 5 Christmas theme-drawn canvases created by David McCaskill to be finished as a beautiful tabletop music box! The class will meet October 15^th, 29^th, and November 12^th. A $75 dollar deposit is required.

Ø    Announcing the new Beginners Series Class! We have created a new piece to stitch for this class so this may interest some of you that have already taken the beginners class. Learn 5 needlepoint stitches and discover the relaxation that is found through the art of needlepoint all while creating a lovely tropical palm tree. Don't miss out reserve a spot now! Classes begin in September and cost $100 for a total of 5 classes.

·        Our Stitch to Win Against Breast Cancer Fundraiser is going on until October, so hurry in and stitch an inch!

Tip Of The Week

While you are stitching try not to pull the thread all the way through before you bring your needle back up through the canvas. This will make it much easier to see the hole where the next stitch begins

Finishing Idea of the Week!

This uniquely finished pillow was done for another fabulous finishing idea. The needlepoint is detachable allowing you to change with the seasons. What Fun!!
